The JUPITER+ is an advanced cable identification system designed for comprehensive analysis of de-energized LV and HV cables. The system consists of a transmitter and receiver pair that enables precise pre-identification of HTA and LV electrical cables. Through specialized injection clamps, it can identify and verify both short-circuited (SC) and open-circuited (OC) conductors, operating independently of screens and equipotential connections.
Engineered for substation operations, the system’s transmitter connects directly to HTA cells or LV feeders through three injection clamps, while the receiver provides detailed cable pre-identification and phase identification capabilities in both open and short circuit conditions. The system includes specialized features for underwater cable identification through an optional underwater pre-identification sensor, making it versatile for various environmental conditions.
