The PCMx is an advanced pipeline assessment system designed for comprehensive coating and Cathodic Protection System (CPS) evaluation. Built on the RD8100PDLG platform, it features simultaneous ACCA and ACVG survey capabilities compliant with ANSI/NACE SP0502-2010 standards. The system includes innovative Peak+ technology with guidance arrows for quick location and Null arrows for distortion checking, alongside integrated GPS for automatic coordinate logging and depth measurement recording.
Engineered for field efficiency, the system features a lightweight 2.2kg receiver with a detachable foot that converts into a full-featured RD8100PDLG pipe and cable locator. It’s supported by two transmitter options: the portable 25W transmitter for distribution networks and the Tx-150 for long-range transmission pipelines up to 30km+. The system integrates with both mobile and PC applications for real-time graphing, enhanced charting, and eCert calibration verification through PCM Manager software.
