The ST620 is an advanced cable fault locator combining Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR) and intelligent bridge testing capabilities in a single device. The system features a large color LCD display (480 x 280 dots) with a user-friendly interface and offers comprehensive fault detection for broken lines, cross faults, earthing issues, and poor insulation in both lead-covered and plastic cables. The TDR function provides testing up to 8km with 1m accuracy and automatic impedance balance adjustment, while the bridge testing function handles poor insulation resistance up to 100 MΩ.
Built for field efficiency, this compact unit (220×160×90mm) weighs just 1kg and operates on a rechargeable lithium battery providing 8 hours of continuous operation with 4-hour charging time. The system includes integrated megameter and ohmmeter functions for insulation and loop resistance testing, along with USB connectivity for data transfer and analysis.
